About us

The origin of our company was founding of the engineering office Wiedemann in 1993. At that time still based in Kiel, the main focus was on the then still very new MEMS technology, as well as the development of application-specific measuring technology for university institutes. Already at this time, the use of microcontrollers (embedded systems) partly connected to complex, distributed systems represents the connecting element of the different projects.

On the move to the center of Germany to Erbach (Odenwald), took place with the processing of even larger projects, e.g. in the areas of commercial vehicles, optical metrology or consumer goods, the establishment of a partner network of freelancers and smaller companies in order to fully meet the expectations of our customers in terms of expertise and short project durations.

Growing business, upcoming investments but also the desire of some customers to consolidate at least part of the hitherto existing informal network structure of the engineering office in one company led to the foundation of ts³ the smart system solution GmbH.

The completion of an extension to the business premises now finally offers not only a little more space for the employees, but also the space required for a precision engineering workshop, the EMC measurement technology, as well as the expansion of our SMT prototype and small series production line.

The procurement of materials for our customers, as well as the contract manufacturing of the electronics we have developed on behalf of customers in large quantities, increasingly requires a presence in Asia.

To capitalize on the opportunities of rapidly developing markets in the region, but also to provide our customers with an even better service through a permanent on-site presence, TS3 (HK) limited, which is based in bustling district Kowloon Bay of the business capital of Hong Kong.

In order to ensure that we can meet the quality requirements of even our most demanding customers, the existing quality management system has been further developed into a consistent quality management system based on the ISO 9001 standard and consistently applied.
